You don't have to read The Diet Bible as a book from cover to cover. Simply pick the subject you're interested in, for example metabolism, and using the index go straight to that section. At the end of that section/question you then get directed to other linked sections/questions or you can refer back to the index.
This certainly won't gather dust like other diet books, it’s so helpful and honest you’ll be dipping into it all the time.
